The Moon remains in Capricorn today, and begins the day with uneasy aspects to Venus and the Sun. Venus and the Sun parallel each other today, continuing the theme of yesterday’s Venus/Sun contact. We may still be absorbing those powerful energies, and the aspects to the Moon point to a need for adjustment as we learn the lessons presented and begin to open ourselves emotionally to their healing power. With the Moon in industrious Capricorn aspecting action planet Mars in Virgo, if we apply ourselves we can plow through the work easily today. Since the Moon in Capricorn adds a serious tone to the proceedings, we may be more comfortable throwing our energy into work in any case–we’re apt to feel more reserved or reluctant to put ourselves and our feelings “out there” today. We’re more likely to want to shield ourselves emotionally, especially after 10:29 PM EDT when the Moon in Capricorn squares the ruler of Capricorn, Saturn. This is a double-Saturnian-whammy that can make us extra-serious or load us down with heavy thoughts and doubts. Don’t be too hard on yourself tonight or feel you’ve fallen short of your goals, just keep working steadily and have confidence that you will achieve your aims.
