The Daily Astro for June 29, 2012
The Moon is in Scorpio today. The Sun in Cancer forms a configuration known as a T-square with Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn, triggering the intense Uranus/Pluto square that has dominated the cosmic weather this week and will continue to do so for several years. With the Sun in stress aspect to Pluto and the Moon in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio), both of the ‘lights’, the Sun and Moon, are channeling very intense, powerful energy. Try not to get caught up in power struggles or stuck in the middle of someone else’s drama–take a step back and use the Mercury/Jupiter aspect to center and clear your thinking patterns. Today could be a very powerful and even explosive day; expect the unexpected. We may no longer be willing to accept controlling/manipulative or negative behavior and issue our own “declaration of independence”. There’s a real urge to break free of restraints. The best use of these aspects, with the Sun/Moon in sync, is to investigate the depth of our own psyche and work on transforming ourselves, rather than lashing out in haste at others due to frustration and anger.
Sabian Symbol for today’s Sun: “ A tiny nude miss reaching into the water for a fish. ”
Kozminsky Symbol for today’s Sun: “An acrobat performing before a large audience .”
The Keyword for the Sabian Symbol is “Inclination ”.
The Keyword for the Kozminsky Symbol is “Publicity”.
Both of these Symbols work very well with the prevailing astrological energies today! The Kozminsky Symbol brings to mind the circus, with acrobats and high-wire walkers using their skills to amaze and entertain the crowd. The idea of taking a chance and putting ourselves “out there”, even if it seems dangerous, reflects the themes of today’s Sun/Uranus/Pluto T-square. We have to trust ourselves and summon all our courage–there’s no room for stage fright here. The Sabian Symbol shows what happens when we approach things without fear, when we “strip down” to the basics, illustrated by the child reaching into the water. This is another “take a chance” message. The child symbolizes newness, openness to experience, and spontaneous curiosity. The water/fish images relate to all the water sign energy (Sun in Cancer/Moon in Scorpio) present today.

Tarot Enhancer/Antidote: World/6 of Pentacles
“The Circle”. Both cards are associated with cycles. The World card relates to the end of a cycle, tells us that we are where we need to be, and that we’ve come “full circle”. Joined with the Six of Pentacles, we give and receive in an endless round and find harmony in the process. Both cards are associated with earthy/earthly matters, as Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) is connected to the World card and Pentacles are of the earth element. Being aware of right timing and cycles ensures that we’re in sync with the cosmos and are able to fully manifest; we also understand the value of our talents and skills and how to use them to make a lasting contribution to the world.
