The Daily Astro for March 19, 2012
We’ve reached the last degree of Pisces today, ready to spring into the Equinox (1:14 AM EDT), and Aries (and into action). It’s a new cycle, ready to begin, even with the retrogrades, so take some time out to review the “greatest hits” of the past few months (those themes may recur today) and to gear up for new and exciting things . The Moon is in Aquarius, emphasizing the theme of “new, different, unusual” early in the day (don’t forget that Uranus’ ruler, Uranus, is in the early degrees of Aries, so things could get really interesting). The Moon also trines Saturn, adding a serious hue to our feelings. Take it in stride if things don’t go as planned; curveballs are likely. As the Moon enters Pisces at 8:05 PM EDT and conjuncts Neptune, it brings a tone of whimsy and free-flowing creativity with it–a little “escape time” into music, film, meditation or anything else that allows you to connect with your inner self is worth spending time on this evening.
Sabian Symbol for today’s Sun: “The Great Stone Face .”
Kozminsky Symbol for today’s Sun: “A man trudging along a rough road, dragging a mass of heavy chains. A strong horse in a cart standing idly near .” The Keyword for the Sabian Symbol is “Discernment” and for the Kozminsky Symbol it’s “ Misconception ”.
Both of these Symbols emphasize a sense of “heaviness” or “weight” and responsibility to an ideal. The “Great Stone Face” ( a rock formation that looks like a man’s head), refers to accumulated wisdom, immutability, and discovering what truths are vital to your existence, based on wanting to emulate someone or something that you admire. The Kozminsky features a man engaged in an act of seeming foolishness, but he’s actually finding his own path and discovering his own ultimate direction through an act of discipline–this is someone who needs to find alternate ways to a goal, even if they “weigh him down” in the process. The discipline itself is part of the learning curve.

Tarot Enhancer/Antidote: 3 of Pentacles/8 of Pentacles
Both of these cards are Pentacles, so the “rock-solid” feel of both Symbols, (see above), is emphasized–the desire and ability to manifest something through hard work and by developing a “fine art” approach to life. We’re called to evolve our own special talent, even if it means starting over again when we thought we had it all figured out. This shows a “hands on” approach that earns us notice and recognition for our skills over time.
