The Moon enters Taurus at 9:29 AM EST

The Moon moseys on over into Taurus at 9:29 AM EST so things may slow down, especially since the Moon also opposes Saturn.  We might find ourselves or others being obstinate or refusing to budge due to fear or long-standing habit patterns. The Moon also contacts Neptune and Chiron in Pisces, so it could just be that we’re being hit on our sore spots and don’t  want to delve deeper, but there’s support if we take the plunge.  A Moon/Jupiter connection can buoy our spirits late this evening, and Venus parallel Mars up heats up the relationship axis, if we don’t fall prey to discord and bitchiness (Venus conjunct the asteroid Eris). With these aspects, I wonder if “big” stories about people overcoming huge hurdles, and obstacles ( romantic and otherwise), will be major winners at tonight’s Academy Awards ceremony. I’m betting on “The Help” to win many awards tonight! (Take a gander at the Sabian and Kozminsky Symbols–the theme of being in bondage with an urge towards freedom is associated with the degree of today’s Sun placement.)
