The Daily Astro for February 9, 2012
We’ll need to be Pinball Wizards today to keep on top of all the excitement. Our mindset is “up-and-at-‘em” early on as Mercury aligns with Jupiter and Mars, but we may find a few odd blocks in the way that get our flippers flapping. It might not be so easy to “follow the bouncing ball” today–be flexible and ready to change plans at a moment’s notice if necessary. Venus and Uranus join in Aries, making us excitable boys and girls, while the Moon in Virgo trine Pluto means we need to be inspired from the soul, but practical at the same time. It’s not an easy juggling act, especially late in the day when the Sun and Moon combine uncomfortably and the Moon aligns with firecracker Mars! All in all, a “twist and shout” kind of day–if it gets too intense, opt out for a while (and steer clear of frustrated & angry people who are looking for targets)!
Sabian Symbol for today’s Sun: “A woman disappointed and disillusioned.”
Kozminsky Symbol for today’s Sun: “A man with chains on his wrists appealing to a crowd of people.”
Both Symbols feature images of constraint and being held back in some way. Both point to the necessity of looking within for strength and not letting outer circumstances sway us from our mission. It may take a long time, but our experiences make us stronger and we’re cautioned to keep going, not to give up, even if things at this time don’t seem to be going our way. Through these experiences we can better understand others who are going through tough times and give them hope for a better future.
“The Sabian Symbol keyword is “ Clearance” and the Kozminsky Symbol keyword is “ Heralding”.
