Early this morning it may have been hard to rouse ourselves from dreamland due to the Moon/Neptune opposition, but the Moon remains in Virgo today and it forms a Grand Trine Venus and Jupiter in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn. This is a wonderful configuration for manifesting your dreams and desires, provided you actually WORK at it (Grand Trines in the Earth element are funny that way.) The Moon/Mars conjunction in Virgo at 6:28 PM EST may mean people get bitchy over small things or can get actively bent out of shape at work; remember there’s a Full Moon tomorrow and things can get blown out of proportion for a day or two before and after the Full Moon, so don’t get too worked up over trifles.

The Keyword for the Sabian Symbol is “Apportionment ” and for the for the Kozminsky Symbol is “Temptation”.

These two symbols make for a very intriguing combination. The tent imagery in the Sabian Symbol relates to a religious revivalist’s tent and/or a circus tent, so the idea is of something exciting or tantalizing that we are drawn to/drawn in to, much as a fly is drawn into the spider’s web. So we’re faced with a tantalizing prospect, but we have to remember to be cautious and not leave ourselves defenseless in the face of something that beguiles us. The spider’s web also reminds me of the network of tightropes that acrobats balance on at the circus, so it’s a reminder to maintain our equilibrium in all things. And of course a spider web is also symbolic of the web of life and our interconnection with all things, so in the bigger picture we have to look at how we are both the spider and the fly at different times in our lives.

This is a healing time, and also a time to look at the ways we trap ourselves because we don’t see ourselves correctly (like viewing our own reflection in one of those circus House of Mirrors displays ). By letting ourselves be overtaken with excessive emotionalism or a web of self-absorption and a focus on what we lack, we work against ourselves and remain mired in our sense of loss. Things will change in time and we need to hone our intuition in order to take advantage of the shift point.
