The Moon remains in Aries today and squares Pluto in Capricorn, so we may feel that something’s incredibly urgent or even breathtakingly essential for our long-term survival. With Mercury backing up into Pisces and Venus and Uranus making a jittery contact, this could be one of those “lost in the ozone” days where people are so busy with their own needs that they don’t notice what’s going on around them. There’s also a bit of the “porcupine backed into a corner” fee here, too. Remember to be alert to avoid accidents of all kinds. Relationships may be full of surprises, or may shock us out of fog–don’t be surprised if unreliable people turn out to be, well, unreliable.

These two Symbols seem to be connected through the idea of “awareness”. The lovers, wrapped up in each other, are able to shut out the outside world and focus on each other. They’re in their own world for now, a sort of closed circuit. The mailed (chain mail) hand with dagger shows someone enclosed in protective garb to keep him safe from the outside world. He’s attempting to ward off something with a blunted dagger, indicating the time may not be right to take action or that further reflection is necessary before commencing action, as the tools are not yet “at hand”.
