The Daily Astro for March 12, 2012
The Moon is in Scorpio today, trining the Sun in Pisces and Jupiter trines Pluto, both flowing aspects that help jump-start our ability to manifest from our creative urges. Just be ready to change plans from minute to minute, if necessary, due to Mercury (in Aries) is retrograde and aspecting the ever-unpredictable Uranus. If you’re ready be flexible and look at everything as an adventure (especially after 2:54 AM EST, when the Moon moves into ready-for-anything Sagittarius), you’ll be fine. Reactions may be a little too quick and even extreme today, so pause before you speak, sign, write or hit the “send” button. With Mars and Neptune in aspect, things may not be what they seem or we may be unclear about our motives, so do as the Monkees (and Carole King/Gerry Goffin) suggested way back in the 60s and “take a giant step outside your mind”.
Sabian Symbol for today’s Sun: “Spiritist phenomena .”
Kozminsky Symbol for today’s Sun: “A heap of broken arms and military trappings lying in a muddy pool.”
The Keyword for the Sabian Symbol is “Sensitivity ” and for the for the Kozminsky Symbol it’s “Militancy”.
This combination mirrors the tarot combo of the day (see below) as it combines a feeling of restlessness and aggression with spirituality. The Kozminsky symbol speaks of “the glory that was Rome” but from the larger viewpoint, looking back and seeing the true cost of those victories–and their ultimate insignificance, on some levels. The Sabian Symbol reminds us of the need to look “behind the curtain” and discover the cosmic meaning of events, to honor those quirky things, those synchronicities that seem to throw us off our path but ultimately lead us to greater discoveries. This time period, with Mercury retrograde in Aries aspecting Uranus, can lure in all sorts of “wild things” that push us forward in unexpected but rewarding directions.

Tarot Enhancer/Antidote: Hanged Man/ 5 of Swords
Well, here’s a combo for Mercury retrograde in Aries sliding back into Pisces! (And don’t forget Neptune is in Pisces now, too.) This pair reminds me of “speaking in tongues”. We may feel impelled to just shout it out right now, without regard for how people are going to respond. Great insights combined with great anger are a heady mix, but it’s probably necessary for this depth charge to occur, in order to clear the deck and destroy the last vestiges of past illusions. We know it’s time to make a change, and deep promptings urge us, but sometimes we just don’t want to listen to ourselves!
